can be a bit corny at times but by far my favorite rap album, it's a shame knoccout bugged out and went to jail for like 20 years for attempted murder after this album. favorite tracks are Jealousy, Compton Hoe (corny as all hell, stank ass lyrics but still the nastiest instrumental of all time), Do or Die, Compton & Watts, 50/50 Luv etc etc the whole album is full of classics.

I love all of Unwound's albums.
Though I would usually gush about Church Gone Wild here as it is indeed my favorite album of all time. I figure people on this forum have a healthy appreciation for Zach Hill and dont need to hear my thoughts on it. (Its great though if you havent listened to it seriously listen to it) The album I want to give attention to here is actually Don Caballero 2 by local legends Don Cab!! Honestly what an album, its mystifying, heavy, virtuostic, and manages to maintain my attention throughout its hour run time. Pretty much every rock genre that found its footing in the 90s is explored on it. In 8 tracks they run the gambit through drone, technical metal, post rock, and math rock with style. I truly believe this is the group at their best though I also have a special reverence for their 3rd album as well. Something about the interplay of 4 instrumentalists at the top of their game suits this band so well. My favorite track is the opener, check it out!

It's great to see some don cab appreciation. I would say What burns is my favourite release both are so captivating. All of their songs are just an orgy of genres and styles and it is absolutley brilliant.
The Three sided Tapes from Lil Ugly Mane are something special to me, can't even tell why I like them this much, it feels so intimate and it just flows for me.
