P-Model is a Japanese new wave band but I don't feel comfortable calling it New Wave because it's miles better than any other new wave band. It is like a mix of Xiu Xiu and New Order but leagues better than New Order.

This album (Enola +6) is my favorite album but I'd recommend looking around P-Model's discography. Big Body tends to be their most favorite album. Also, the lead singer Susumu Hirasawa has a pretty interesting solo career and has done the soundtrack for the Berserk anime series, Paprika and Paranoia Agent!
Anyway, hope people check it out.
