Discord is evil, and it is spying on everyone who uses its service. I don't mean this in a metaphorical sense; Discord has openly admitted to doing exactly what we've been saying all along they do: Tracking every single one of your posts and private messages sent using their service. And the only reason anyone would use it anymore is because it makes people feel safer knowing that they're "protected" by having another program running with their microphone while using the app.
"I didn't click 'allow'!" Like that ever stopped them. The fines if applied are the cost of doing business. Big tech owns you, and you let them. Even if they lose an expensive lawsuit now and then, as long as they can keep growing their userbase, they win in the end.
