all I know is the fact that people have render competitions to see who can actually display black midis is quite funny

the black midi concept that is not the protocol in general

is there any way it can be combined with microtonal instruments

im honestly surprised midi has lasted this long

as legitimate music it's not fantastic but as a funny idea of pushing your computer to it's limits with piano noises

people have pushed the ".mid" format to it's theoretical limits just for fun

the fact that some peoples goal with black midi, is to push it to the absolute limit of the computer

and what draws you to it exactly i kind of wrote it off if i'm being honest

who is the best real black midi artist would you say

ah yeah, it's confusing for sure

i haven't fully checked it out but i was disappointed black midi wasn't a black midi band
