Like is it just basic Shonen with fights where the mc is going to win no matter what or does stuff get interesting?

To me I still enjoy the fights because of how stands are present, it makes everything seem more like a puzzle where each user is trying to work out how to use their stand to win the battle, rather than each character training to become stronger. So yeah, often the fights are a bit of a foregone conclusion but to me it's interesting to see how it's won rather than who wins.
