It serves as a giant observation tower overlooking downtown Calgary. It was also used as a giant Olympic torch at one point in its life Good for taking awesome shots RE: Photography - nemiko - 01-02-2021 Here's a photograph I really like - I took this earlier this year on expired film, I then ran it through audacity to databend it a little, it's the cover art to my latest music project RE: Photography - Apathy - 01-02-2021 (01-02-2021, 04:31 AM)nemiko Wrote: Here's a photograph I really like - I took this earlier this year on expired film, I then ran it through audacity to databend it a little, it's the cover art to my latest music project oh yo that's sick, what camera and film were you using? I got a Nikon F3 and bought some expired Ektachrome 160T and I'm hoping I'll get some interesting color shifts or artifacts. keep shooting man RE: Photography - roundy - 01-02-2021 (01-02-2021, 02:08 AM)Woodenlung Wrote: Roundy all your photos but the last one aren't showing up for me. It's honestly a pretty gross film, really grainy and it doesn't expire nicely, the photos needed a lot of processing to look anything close to decent. I've been meaning to learn to develop my own film, I'll probably start with B/W film (I've bought a roll of Ilford, just need the chemicals) and then move to color when I know what I'm doing. I'll post some other photos I took with this film later, I was visiting family in England in January so they're all taken around town. A few of the photos taken in England mentioned in previous post: RE: Photography - TerryDev - 01-02-2021 Pictures from Banff. more to come RE: Photography - eelbath - 01-03-2021 (01-01-2021, 05:31 AM)Woodenlung Wrote: Post some photos you have taken recently, or your old favorites. very thought provoking shit, thank you for sharing i have a particular interest in the moon RE: Photography - TerryDev - 01-03-2021 (01-03-2021, 02:32 AM)eelbath Wrote: very thought provoking shit, thank you for sharing Tried some astrophotography the other night.
