A2B2 Video Festival / Limited Releases on A2B2. My stuff can't go on Youtube!! - whoresOfBabylon13 - 12-16-2021

Hello everyone!

Let me explain to you my situation that lead to me having this idea:

I am working on a video series (An anime, basically) right now and have currently released 1/6 episodes. The feedback has been extremely positive, even getting some attention from artists I really admire, but moving forward I'm not sure if Youtube will be the best means of uploading my content. This is because my series contains (3d animated) nudity!! It is not a pornographic series, it isn't even that explicit otherwise, but (animated) boobs and butts do show up because of the nature of the subject matter!! Youtube can INSTANTLY DELETE my channel with NO warning because of this. So what am I to do??

It got me thinking of two seperate ideas:

A2B2 Video Festival-

Basically like Night of Fire but for visual artists from the community to show their short films, animations, visual art etc. This is pretty self explanatory. Host the festival as a stream on a service that won't deplatform us for showing explicit content (How explicit content can be can be decided within guidelines set by the festival organizers)

another more ambitious idea is

A2B2 Sponsored & Hosted visual art on a per-approval basis-

This is kind of a coked out crazy idea but I think it would be really cool:

Imagine if A2B2 would accept pitches for content almost like a TV network. If a pitch is accepted it could be hosted/promoted by A2B2 and would get put under a special new section of the site where all A2B2 sponsored content would go. A limited number of series could be approved every few months based on need and quality. It doesn't have to be limited to episodic video series either, think of any kind of long running visual content such as comics which also could be hosted.

The benefits of this would be:
  • Drawing new users to the site as A2B2 may be the only place to view certain pieces of art
  • Helping new artists by promoting them to the existing A2B2 community

Pretty neat ideas right?? Let me know what you think!

This video festival certainly does seem quite promising and unique too. It seems almost as promising as 123movies seemed to have been for me. So I'm really excited about the festival all in all.

Almost as promising as being de-platformed by a bunch  of ass holes up in this forum.
