Are we in a modern day renaissance?
Creating is cheaper than ever many people able to easy afford tools for creation thanks to digital methods and the fact that being a "commoner" doesn't mean toiling in a field for most of your life like in the past renaissance period.
And although there have been other periods in history where knowledge and information was available, it's never quite felt this way to me. It feels like we're just scratching the surface of creativity at the moment.
