Have a feeling were in for some rough times in the relatively near future. How should I go about preparing for shortages and electricity blackouts any good resources online?

Portable solar systems are getting cheaper. Stock up on dry shelf stable stuff, meal kits are a waste most of the time. You can never store too much water. Learn to fish, hunt, or garden. All 3 if you can.
I think the rumored collapse is overstated honestly
