In 1994, he released two separate visual albums, The Esoteric Retina and Compu Movie. The Esoteric Retina was commissioned and distributed by Sony and released on Video CD, while Compu Movie was distributed by Tierrart and released on VHS. Neither ever had any reprints or rereleases and they became scarce and valuable.

The Esoteric Retina was first uploaded to the internet in full in 2018 after a VCD was auctioned on eBay for $717. Compu Movie had remained lost until the 10th of this month when Sato tweeted picrel with the caption
>I discovered this while searching the warehouse at my house in Tokyo. I'll give it as a bonus in my lucky bag. It's new, but it's an old tape, so I don't know what condition it's in. I don't even have VHS anymore!

Earlier today, it was uploaded in full to archive.org and youtube

He found it on April 10th. After apparently not having it in his possession for probably multiple decades,
