Being raised by a London cyberpunk with ties to some mental clubs and fringe subcultures from the 90's pretty heavily influenced me aesthetically and philosophically. I tend to gun for cyberpunk, hacker culture, netstalk, deepwebcore, that sort of middle ground between technological utopia and dystopia. Films like Johnny Mnemonic, Ghost in the Shell 1995, Tetsuo the Iron Man, Brazil, books like Snowcrash, Neuromancer, Diamond Age, and trashy sci fi paperbacks from the 70s sorta govern where I sit now. Where are you thinking of taking it?

Edit: forgot to mention Lain, and musically I'm into Atari Teenage Riot, Machine Girl, Sewerslvt, Front 242, Apoptygma Berzerk, Icon of Coil, Golden Boy, and basically anything else that I can dance to.
