Lemme share an experience with you. Once me and a buddy came across an archive full of print ready 3D weapon parts, and as good samaritans we thought we'd put them somewhere safe so they wouldn't fall into the wrong hands. My fellow punk's parents had this fucking ridiculous smart fridge with wifi capability, and I figured no one was gonna look for weapon parts in a fridge. So he and I worked our arcane hacker magic and jammed a truckload of the designs into the fridge, only for it to be sold a few weeks later. Somewhere out there someone is putting their weekly grocery shop in a weapons cache.
