Anybody here do any legal exploration? It looks really interesting to me. Post pics of things you have seen, and tips for other explorers!

In terms of tips:
-Don't go alone!
-Make sure you've got good supplies:  backpack with flashlight [and extra batteries], some food and water, bandages, antiseptic, etc. 
-Wear the right clothes:  decent sturdy boots (you don't want to step on a nail and have it go through your shoe), clothes that are thick enough to protect your skin so you don't get scratched by anything jutting out and develop tetanus or something
-Take a respirator with you!  There can be plenty of nasty shit lying around (exposed asbestos, copious amounts of mold, various chemicals, etc) and you don't want to be breathing that into your lungs.  Make sure it's rated properly too.
-Be wary of really decrepit places, as the floors may be starting to fall out, or the ceilings may be starting to cave in.  
-If you're doing this in the southern US (or lots of other rural places) make sure the place is actually uninhabited and not the current squatting location for a methlab
