Title: PS1 style revival games
Thread Modes

Does anyone else enjoy playing these? I quite liked A Place, Forbidden and some of the other off of the Haunted PS1 Demo Disc.

Nobody Lives Under the Lighthouse looks pretty good as well. Interested to hear if anyone else likes these types of games

I love these types of games. Theres a game on steam called concluse, not sure if I ever finished it but it had a very haunting atmosphere

ULTRAKILL only shares the visuals, so I don't think it really belongs here, but I absolutely have to ULTRASHILL because it's one of the best games ever.

a game called "Lost In Vivo" it's a horror game with ps1 level graphics and shit
instead of scaring you with cheap jumpscares, it gets progressively more eerie and terrifying as you go on
not gonna spoil any of the story tho
just know that it's absolutely fantastic. recommend it 100%

Really happy to see the ps1 lofi style picking up so much momentum in indie gaming.

Puppet Combo makes a lot of great games like this and they're pretty much what turned me onto this movement in gaming. The developer Somewhat also has some really cool stuff. Miziziziz is currently making a really dope looking scifi shooter called Wrought Flesh that I can't wait to play.

Puppet Combo: https://puppetcombo.itch.io/

Somewhat: https://somewhat.itch.io/

Wrought Flesh: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QbgQX-YqFs

Does Cruelty Squad count? That game looks awesome and has certainly picked up traction lately I feel
