I don't know where you guys stand on the matter but I feel as though the top 1% has gotten richer over time while the rest of us haven't. The amount of poor people has also increased but when you look at per capita income I don't see the same growth in middle class workers as I do in the top earners. 

As far as I can tell we've seen more money and power be concentrated in fewer hands which means we have less safety net for those who fall into poverty and lose their jobs.

What do you think? Is this GASP socialism?

i think a huge tax on luxury items is good but maybe all items over a certain price threshold
