I remembered reading this poem and wanted to share. 

I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox

and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious

What I think this poem is about is the author eating the plums out of your icebox, but it could be up to interpretation. It could be about the author eating the plums out of my icebox.
