Agreed. Been fan of RoR since the first version but Risk of Rain 2 is perfect especially now with modding scene. Haven't played it since they released final boss yet though... If anyone's down for a co-op run on vanilla version, let me know!

As for other roguelikes I used to have a lot of fun with FTL but that was few years ago, haven't played that ever since.

For some newer stuff I highly recommend playing Darkwood which is kinda-roguelike but more like cross-over of few genres such as survival horror, rougelike and RPG served in top-down view reminding you of Hotline Miami.
